Military Odyssey 2023 was a fantastic weekend. It was a great pleasure to meet the Screaming Eagles History Group, talking to them about the different theatres of WWII and then getting my picture taken with them. I will definitely return next year! Semper Fi gentlemen!
Capel military show 2023 was awesome, spent some time at your display talking with patsy If I remember correctly. He spent ages talking to my kids and letting them hold different weapons. Very knowledgeable guy and made for a great experience 👍
Fort Burgoyne (Armed Forces Weekend)
Very professional outfit and friendly. They took the time to explain weapons and general points of interest about what they did as a group. My grandson was literally hanging on to their every word. Look forward to catching them at Detling show ground in August.
Tilford: A Village at War
Best day out with the children for ages! Biggest thanks to Patsy for his time/knowledge and to all for inspiring our small people to learn more.
Tilford: A Village at War
My son and I had a good talk with Patsy today. Good display and well presented. Really enjoyed meeting these guys who were so informative and helpful. Will be seeing you again at Capel
Tilford: A Village at War
Thanks for your part of a great day out and especially to Patsy for his talk and showing my lads the guns and equipment
Met these guys at Tilford: A Village at War. Met Fluff.Very impressed, really interesting chap and his colleagues as well. Looking forward to seeing all the guys at another show.
My daughter Holly and I met Razor and Phillip & gang at the Salute to the 1940s show on Saturday. Great guys all of them. Really informative and friendly. We had seen the display at the Oddessey a few weeks earlier. Love the facade of the French hotel. It speaks volumes.
Just want to say thanks to razor, we met today at chatham dockyard an he gave me some great tips on my uniform, and made me feel a lot more relaxed wearing it! You guys had a great area too
Thank you to Fluff and all the guys for chatting to us at the Dockyard today. We loved learning about the 101st!
Dear screaming eagles lhg
I would like to say a huge thank to all of the re-enacters for speaking to me today at military odyssey and an extra thank you to plug for showing me the weapons that were involved on d-day. Me and my Great Uncle had a wonderful time. Kind regards. Oliver Cant
Great to see you all at the Odyssey on Monday. Thanks for all the time you spent with our family showing us all the kit and letting us handle the weapons. Special shout out to Plug and Patsy who were very generous with their time. Thanks guys. :)
What a fabulous group of gentlemen. Darren and the rest of his team were brilliant with our son (and the rest of our family) at Military Odyssey. They’ve made his year ! They were extremely generous with their own time, gave us so much valuable advice and information to help our little chap on his reenactment journey. I really can’t thank them enough. Extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly and personable. They went above and beyond to help us and we look forward to keeping in touch ! Thank you
Thank you guys for making my son James's day at the Capel Military Show. You explained all the equipment, let him hold the weapons and were very knowledgeable and friendly. I learnt a lot too thanks again!
Saw the lads at Capel show yesterday and they were all extremely friendly. The uniform, weapons and set piece looked brilliant.
Met 2 fellas at caple military show who were brilliant with our kids, letting them get hands on with some rifles and pistols. Knowledge was brilliant, they were friendly and approachable and eager to share their wealth of knowledge. Forgive me i forgot exactly the names but I think one was bin and the other eludes me. Looked like a lot of time had gone into their rigs and they sat there in the sun fully kitted and still smiling. Top job.
Just got back from Capel. It may not have been Normandy shortly after D Day but it certainly felt like a film set for Band of Brothers. Just like the film the soldiers seemed real. Excellent, thanks
Would like to say a genuine thanks to Patsy and Plug at the Capel military show. I came over to take a couple photos and ask some questions and they told me about anything and everything i asked for, even telling me unique and suprissing information about some of the replica/authentic firearms they had. They are where truly fantastic and it was a fantastic experience.
I really enjoyed the recent Overlord Show. The Screaming Eagles were extremely informative and very interesting. I am a Peruvian national and would like to express my thanks to Patsy and his colleague for all their knowledge, time and patience explaining, demonstrating, as well as giving me the opportunity to interact with some of the display items for myself. I thoroughly enjoyed the talk and look forward to visiting them at future events.
Patsy and Fester were great with my son Theo at the Overlord show in Denmead, they spent time taking him through all the weapons and he absolutely loved it, thanks guys!
We went to the Overlord show this weekend, the screaming eagles were brilliant and put on a brilliant display. Patsy in particular spent time with my son , he explained all the weapons brilliantly and my son thoroughly enjoyed talking to him.
Hey I’m a royal marine cadet and I saw this group at overlord festival 2022 and they were very nice and approachable, they let us handle the weapons and take pictures with the members while learning a bit of the history of the unit they represent. Their kit and uniforms looked spot on to me and their set of the hotel de France is always a nice touch - very good group!
We are just back from the Overlord Show and met your wonderful team. What a fantastic group of knowledgeable and friendly chaps! Special shout-out to Patsy for all the time he gave us and the knowledge he shared. Hope to see you all again soon 😊
I met Company E with my 3 sons at Tilford on 7th May. Thanks for being so welcoming. The boys enjoyed trying your kit and learning some history. Hope to see you at Overlord!
I visited Tilford, Village at war on Sat 7th May and met Fluff and Gorby, I really enjoyed their presentation, they gave lots of information on the equipment and jeep that they drove around in.
We were at Salute to the 40s at Chatham Historic Dock Yard this weekend and met these very lovely gentlemen, who allowed me to take a splendid phot of them as well as join them in a photo together. Thankyou gentlemen and lovely meeting you.
Great to see your group at Military Odyssey today & thanks for welcoming my 10yr old son in his para uniform, even though he is badged up as 82nd airborne. Such a great photo I’ve got of my son with some of the group too.
We met Screaming Eagles (Raisin and his mates) at the Battles for Victory Show and we loved them. They showed us their equipment and they were very friendly and informative.
It was great to see these guys at the Brooklands military vehicle event this morning, My son was fascinated by all the Jeeps on display and particularly loved holding the Machine gun that one of the members showed him ( what 7 year old wouldn’t !!) .
Saw these guys at the Oorlogsmuseum in Overloon, The Netherlands.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to you all. Just been to Tankfest and of course we visited you. My two sons absolutely loved your display (as did my husband and myself) we were blown away by the accuracy - it felt like we had stepped back in time to WWII. We are thrilled with the pictures you kindly posed for with us. Anyway, keep on doing your thing and hopefully we will run in to you again some day - might be a while as we live in the North of Scotland! Thank you again.
Thanks for this amazing experience on Sunday! It was wonderful to see you guys, touch weapons and rifles and watching Fury in real life! I even gave a gift to Fury because I'm a huge fan :)
Saw these boys today at Bovington tank museum for Tank Fest and all I can say is that their kit and look is the closest you can get to the real thing without having a time machine back to D-Day. Outstanding. They were very very kind lads too.
75th Anniversary D-Day Commemorative Convoy
We had the pleasure of meeting Fluff today at Newbury College. My Grandson Max, loved talking to you, holding the gun and wearing the helmet. So important for the younger generation to hear about the wars. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach him. He hasn’t stopped talking about his day!
Saw these guys at the denmead event, they were fantastic, and great with our kids too. Some good photos taken. Thankyou
